Inclusion FUTSAL 21
Activity inclusive work
‘’Futsal - a game for all of us"
A section for children with developmental disabilities operates within the „21. oktobar“ futsal club. Integrating children with developmental and other disabilities has dual importance – on the one hand, it enables the inclusion of children with developmental disabilities in the life of the community on an equal basis.
The club has signed business and technical cooperation contracts with all schools in Kragujevac working with special needs children.
– School with home for accommodation of students with hearing impairment (33 Starine Novaka St., Kragujevac)
–“Vukašin Marković“ School in Kragujevac
In these schools, the club holds sports training for students every week on a volunteering basis. There are about 40 of these students.
Five sports and physical education teachers and one graduate psychologist work with the students. The business and technical cooperation contract specifies that cooperation with these schools is maintained with the help of a team of special education teachers and educators already working in the schools.
Participation in sports and recreational activities is in itself an experience in which every child finds great satisfaction.
The section gathers around 40 people with developmental and other disabilities, divided by age and different forms of disability: people with cerebral palsy, people with autism, people with hearing impairment, people with Down syndrome, people with intellectual disabilities.
